Open Positions

Engineer for development of mechanical systems and management of testing facility

Our location in Aachen is looking for an engineer to help with developing mechanical systems and managing the testing facility.

Duties include:

• Design of test rigs and test setups
• Programming of control systems in LabView and CodeSys
• Running and maintaining our test rigs
• Independent execution of projects including interactions with subcontractors
• Examination of parts
• Providing documentation in written reports
• Independent communication with clients, including establishment of professional relationships

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or mechatronics engineering, independence and self-sufficiency, creativity, ability to innovate and a love of detail. Candidate must have business-level fluency in German.

Student Assistant in technical sales/marketing, mechanical engineering, and mechatronics

Our Aachen office is looking for student assistants to support in technical sales and marketing, mechanical engineering, and mechatronics for 10-19 h/week, including the following activities:

Technical sales and marketing (US/Aachen):

• Identification of potential new customers
• Preparation and follow-up for sales meetings/discussions
• Preparation for conferences and trade shows

Mechanical Engineering (Aachen):

• Operation of bearing test rigs
• Support in CAD design

Mechatronics (Aachen):

• Programming of controls in Labview
• Commissioning of test rigs
• Maintenance on measurement instruments

Requirements are good oral and written communication skills in German and English, a self-sufficient method of working, and basic technical knowledge. This position is best suited for students in mechanical enginering, industrial engineering, or business administration.
